How does BIGO LIVE work exactly?

On BIGO LIVE, viewers can send virtual gifts, which are converted into a virtual currency called beans. Those beans can then be cashed out (with certain rules) by the broadcaster.

• As a regular broadcaster, your income is largely from those gifts/beans.  
   

• As an official host, you can get a base salary (on top of gifts) if you hit certain performance metrics (streaming hours + beans) in a given month.  

• Not all days/hours count fully: e.g., only up to 2 hours per day may count toward your monthly quota.

The higher your monthly metrics, the higher the tier/salary you may reach.
